Alison Farley - Guide2RhoneAlpes
Guide2RhoneAlpes is due to launch on 10th August and is a website designed both for those living or considering moving to the region as well as those wishing to visit. The main sections are Property, News, Accommodation, Directory, Information (this is information on things to do, places to visit as well as advice on living in France and the region), Restaurants, Events, Vouchers (these are money off vouchers for different services and activities in the region) and a community section which is for social networking, classifieds etc.
The three most important sections are the Information, News & Events and these make up the majority of the site. The news section will include reviews, Rhône-Alpes news and articles on different activities and subjects relevant to life and visits to the region.
Living in the region, I have found it increasing difficult to find information about the area and although there are a couple of books on the subject, nothing was very user friendly or interactive. This new site will be full of information, photos, videos and will have new content added every day to keep it fresh, exciting and most importantly up to date.

Helen Saks - Usborne Books
Based in Toulouse and a mum of two, Helen runs is an Usborne Books representative
"The appeal was immediate, no big financial outlay, work that I could schedule around my child, I created my working hours and basically got out what I put in. There is one bookshop where they are very expensive, so families tend to buy online, and then of course they can't see what they are buying. Bringing them back from the UK, is heavy and cumbersome, so I am really providing a service that is wanted and needed. I provide the highest quality books, at the most competitive prices, where customers can browse, and inevitably buy!"
